As a Sales Coordinator at G&C Foods your primary function is to assist the Account Executives in growing our business by providing administrative and clerical support in an industry that never stops moving. The position is designed to have a daily list of short-term tasks and responsibilities as well as long-term projects, as directed by the Administrative Sales Manager. Given the unpredictability of consume demand, Sales Coordinators are given the authority to make business decisions outside of normal business hours, so long as those decisions are made to the good of the Company and its constituents.
Every Day in this role you will:
Support and assist Account Executives in all aspects of the G&C business.
Service the needs and foster the relationship between G&C Foods and the G&C client base, both existing and prospective.
Maintain and manage administrative duties for each assigned/prospective client which include but are not limited to: Account Lists (Call Sheets), Unauthorized Deductions, Inventory Control Issues, Scheduling Appointments, Completing Purchase Orders etc.
Engage with all G&C Departments to service the needs of the G&C client, which include but not limited to: Purchasing, Transportation, Accounting, IT, Operations, HR.
Utilize G&C tools and resources which include but not limited to: Sales Reporting, Market Trends, Daily/Weekly Pricing etc.
Provide coverage for assigned Account Executives in their absence and/or times of need.

A commitment to go above and beyond the call of duty to meet the needs of the Account Executives, our customers, and the Company, at all times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Time management and disciplined organizational ability.
Must be able to multi-task and interact with people in person/virtually/over the phone, constantly.
Knowledge of the foodservice/retail industry, specifically protein products and other commodities.
Computer skills with a strong background in Excel and Microsoft Office preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two-Four years customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
